So much to do in Teignmouth, from local shopping in quirky shops to eating al fresco at a pavement cafe or simply sitting on one of the two superb beaches.
Teignmouth has the benefit of two great beaches. The main one on the English channel side where one can swim, surf or build sand castles. The there is the one that is the back beach, which is protected from the sea breezes of the westerly winds, safer for children as there are not the waves to cause concern.
